Samsung Galaxy Note 8 arriving in the UK this April

The biggest and newest Galaxy Note member, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has been given its UK official release date and pricing. Samsung’s bet against the iPad Mini is said to land in UK stores next month.
It was Carphone Warehouse who first posted its pre-registration page for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, with the latter offering an ‘expected’ April 2013 release date.

Unfortunately, the Carphone Warehouse held off on the tablet’s official pricing, but other UK retailers are now suggesting that Samsung may have made the device ‘too expensive’ (more expensive than the iPad Mini).

Handtec is offering the Note 8.0’s 16GB WiFi only variant at £371.99, while Expansys priced it for £349.99.

The new Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet comes in with similar specs as Google’s Nexus 7 bearing the price tag of. £159 only. A lot of Samsung fans were expecting this new tablet to be on par with the said tablet (price wise) or be more affordable just like Amazon’s Kindle Fire HD. Again, this device is more expensive than the iPad Mini which is currently priced at £269 only.

It seems like Samsung made a mistake when it comes to pricing this device. If this is the actual price of the tablet, then who will want it when its competitions are selling their tablets at a much affordable price range?
Are you willing to pay this much for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0? Please share your thoughts with us via the comment box.
