On the famous Chinese website Baidu, Live pictures of the allegedly new Nokia Smartphone emerged. The new phone is code-named as Nokia Catwalk. The leaked images show a phone body made up of Aluminium integrated back cover, and in another image we can see the front screen of the device. According to the sources this phone will be the successor of Nokia Lumia 920, and will soon hit the market. But Nokia didn’t officially spoke about it on any forum.
The photographs seem to be taken from a video clip which could also leak some time later. The interesting part is that the phone is enclosed in a metal case which Nokia used in many Lumia devices. The famous tech blog The Verge has also reported about the same leaked images but they are not sure about the confirmation of the any such device being developed by Nokia currently. However their sources suggests that the Finnish smartphone makers has such design in their files and this module also define the probability of the new Nokia Lumia series to be announced soon by Nokia.
If we examine these images closely we can see that at the top end of the device is a 3.5 mm audio jack, a covered slot for SIM-card, and there is that microUSB port or which could be micro HDMI port. It seems that the side frames of the allegedly new Nokia device is made of plastic, that means it’s not a phone with single metal body. However this represent the idea that the Finnish company was looking to reduce the weight and thickness of the device.
It is expected that the new smartphone will get a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chipset clocked at 1.5 GHz, on the display side the device could have a 4.5-inch OLED-display with a resolution of 1280 x 768 pixels, A total of 1GB RAM will help to boost the performance of the device which comes with a 16 GB built in memory. The device will come with an 8.7-megapixel main camera, f2 .0 with the new optical stabilization system, and there will be a non-removable battery of 2000 mAh.
