The Nokia Lumia 928 is joining the network in a month and will sit right next to the Lumia 822, but offer a higher end Windows Phone powered experience. Sources that are “familiar with Nokia’s plans” claim the new handset will be available next month and the Lumia 928 is the same device that was rumored to be called the Nokia Laser a couple months ago. The source is also claiming that the Lumia 928 will be equipped with the 8MP PureView camera, as well as an LED + Xenon flash, giving the smartphone a very good chance to become one of the best for taking pictures.
The Lumia 928 is rumored to be thinner and lighter than the Lumia 920 that it was modeled after, with a body that measures just 10mm thick and features a curved back side for better one hand grip. The overall look of the device is similar to that of the Lumia 720, but will feel much lighter than the Lumia 720. The processing power and RAM that is included in the Lumia 920 will be available in the Lumia 928 as well.
The phone reportedly features a 4.5-inch touch screen display, plus it will have support for simultaneous voice and LTE, which gives users the ability to talk and surf the internet at the same time. This feature has started to become more popular and is one that is still not available with the iPhone 5 on the Verizon Wireless network. The Lumia 928 will join the HTC 8X on the Verizon Wireless network as a flagship device. One feature that has not been confirmed at this time includes the wireless charging that both the HTC 8X and Lumia 920 feature.
